Bacco: the soul of Cannobio at your service
I am Bacco, born and raised in the heart of Cannobio. My life has always been a weave of contact with people and love for the nature around us. After running a welcoming local bar and spending years exploring the magnificent alpine pastures of the upper Lake Maggiore, I felt the wish to create a place where I could share the beauty of these unique surroundings. At Camelias Parking I welcome travellers from every corner of the world, offering not only a safe place for their motorhome, but also honest advice for discovering the authentic soul of Cannobio. My greatest pleasure is seeing our guests leave with a smile, enriched by what they have experienced here.
In the evening: a chat at sunset
When the sun goes down and the air cools, you might find me near the cabin, perhaps wearing my trusty hat, enjoying the quiet of the evening. Do say hello: it is a pleasure to chat for a while and make sure everything is going well for our guests.
During the day: hospitality and useful advice
On hot summer days, hospitality here also comes in small gestures. If you see me with a cool drink, it is because I believe sharing a moment of refreshment is the best way to face the heat and feel at home straight away. Your comfort is our priority, and I am always available for advice on what to visit or for practical help.
The price, spelled out in coins
On the wall of the cabin there is a wooden board with our price laid out in coins. I built it myself and my signature is at the bottom: it is the most direct way I know of saying that here there is only one price, with no surprises.
Il Capo: efficiency and warmth for you
I am “Il Capo”, that is how my father affectionately calls me! I work with him running Camelias Parking, taking care of the administrative and organisational side. I am a cheerful and practical person; my priority is making sure every detail of your stay is looked after and that any need of yours is settled quickly.
